If you are a Scarlett Johansson fan, you would be extremely happy to see her back in blonde!

She was recently seen sporting a modern celebrity hairstyle during the We Bought a Zoo premiere in New York City.

Her glamorous red carpet updo caught everyone’s attention. Not only was it modern yet elegant but it was a new look for the star, who simply rocked it.

If you want to copy the new Scarlett Johansson hairstyle, here is a step-by-step guide by celebrity stylist Duffy where he reveals how to recreate the same look for yourself.

  • First, towel dry hair and distribute Sebastian Professional Whipped Crème through the lengths of the hair, beginning at the roots and moving towards the ends. Rough dry the hair until the product is completely absorbed.
  • Second, spritz the hair with Sebastian Professional Potion 9 Lite and use a one-inch curling iron to curl the entire head, starting at the front. Once the hair has cooled, brush through the waves.Duffy says the parting is important because it creates the vintage look. The beauty pro advised the best way of creating a neat finish.

  • Third, create a side part and separate the hair into four equal sections around the head, starting at the crown and moving downwards. Backcomb each section and spray the roots … to hold in place.
  • Finally, working against the part, twist each section horizontally against the head around both the sides and back, and secure with pins. Allow the wave to show through the front section.

Follow these steps to create your favorite celebrity hairstyle. Keep us posted about whether you were able to recreate the new Scarlett Johansson hairstyle.

What was Christina Aguilera thinking of when she appeared for the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales, UK? What inspired her to go for unkept extensions that looked really wild? I was stunned when I saw her on-stage. Were you surprised with her choice of celebrity hairstyle as well?

The Emmy-winning star performed a couple of songs at the Michael Forever concert tribute in Wales, UK, to commemorate the late King of Pop. Though her choice of songs was good but her appearance wasn’t.

When she first appeared on stage, audience gasped at her appearance. She was wearing a skin-tight black leotard and her blonde extensions looked very wild. I wonder how she choose this celebrity hairstyle for this event!

The talented performer’s first number was Charlie Chaplin’s Smile which was a favorite of MJ. She then sang more songs and entertained the audiences which constantly made us realize that the king of pop Michael Jackson is no longer with us.

In the end, Michael Forever tribute concert proved to revive memories of MJ and his songs. However, the wild celebrity hairstyle of Christina Aguilera did surprise many. I wish I could go onstage and chop off her extensions using some haircutting shears.

Entertainment Tonight Host & Rusk Official Spokesperson Nancy O’Dell arrived early on the red carpet to interview the stars as they arrived at the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards. Dressed in a red mermaid gown – one of the trend setting colors of the night – Nancy completed her look with an elegant up-do courtesy of her celebrity hairstylist Bobby H. Grayson.

“Nancy’s gown was such a statement piece, we thought that she needed an on trend up-do to finish the look” said Grayson. Drawing inspiration from many of the ponytails he saw last week during Fashion Week, Grayson created a wrapped ponytail that would keep Nancy’s hair looking elegant and sleek throughout the long night.

How to create Nancy O’Dell’s Wrapped Ponytail Hairstyle:

Step 1: Bobby began working on Nancy’s towel dried hair, carefully blowing out each section with a round boar bristle brush. Once her hair was completely dried, he sectioned off an area around the crown of the head and worked hot rollers into that section of the hair.

Step 2: The rest of Nancy’s hair was pulled back into a sleek, low ponytail. Once the pony was fastened with a hair tie, Grayson took numerous strands that were hanging and began wrapping them around the hair tie to create the wrapped look. Since Nancy has such long hair, it was easier to create the wrapping. For shorter hair, Grayson suggests fastening 2 hair ties around the hair. One at the base of the ponytail and another a inch or so further down. This way, the hair is secure and easier to wrap.

Step 3: Once Nancy’s hair was fully wrapped around the ponytail, Grayson carefully snuck bobby pins underneath the hair to secure the look and finished this section with a nice spray of Rusk’s W8less Hairspray.

Step 4: To ensure the bottom of the ponytail looked shiny and smooth, Grayson finished the ends with a flat iron. He then used a touch of Rusk’s Deepshine Oil on the loose hair to give it that extra shine.

Step 5: Finally, Grayson removed the hot rollers from the crown of Nancy’s hair. These rollers gave the top section some body which Grayson used to create a slight pompadour look, teasing this front section and fingering the strands into place. Once Nancy’s hair fell perfectly, Grayson completed the look with another misting of Rusk’s W8less hairspray and she was ready for the red carpet.

This is how you can create Nancy O’Dell’s stylish ponytail hairstyle that she sported during Emmy 2011.

Celebrity news, celebrity fashion and celebrity hairstyles are some things which attract a lot of people form both the genders. Its interesting to analyze why people so crazy about the lives of these famous people.

I bet one of the top reasons for women to copy celebrity hairstyles is ‘inspiration’. Watching their favorite stars with a unique hairdo inspires many people and some people even visit their favorite salons hoping to replicate that style.

Another reason could be some people are hard-core fanatics. That means, they’ll do everything that their idol or favorite celebrity does; be it changing their hairstyle or going for bungee jumping!

One of the popular reasons for copying celebrity hairstyles that we hear frequently is “It’s the new trend!” I remember how many women went crazy to copy Jennifer Aniston’s Friends hairstyle because it looked cool and very much trendy.

Sometimes I wonder whether it is affordable for everyone to keep changing their hairstyle to match that of their stars’. There’s nothing wrong in copying a celebrity hairstyle, but how long can you do that since celebrities are used to change their style within a few weeks. Can a majority of people afford to do that?

One notable example is that of Kate Gosselin hairstyles. Last year, she had stripped off her $7000 extensions for a new sixties inspired bob while she was participating in Dancing with the Stars reality show. Can we really afford to switch a hairdo that costs thousands of dollars within a fortnight?

I want to know what you think about the trend of copying celebrity hairstyle. And which celebrity hairstyle inspires you the most? Let us know your views by submitting your comments below.
