What happens when you have a salon owner who has a defeatist attitude and a passive-aggressive and negative way to deal with salon employees? This was how Bridgette Orcutt was treating her Salon Bridgette, until Tabatha Takes Over came to help her.
This week on Bravo, Tabatha Coffey had a massive challenge to motivate Bridgette, a mother of two, to take control of her staff and her salon business, if she didn’t want to close her salon.
During Episode 6 of Tabatha Takes Over, as Tabatha took control of Salon Bridgette, in Swedesboro, New Jersey, she quickly realized there were multiple challenges to deal with.
First off, the salon owner had a bad attitude. Second, the salon was in massive debt. Third, her stylists came to work unprepared. Fourth, Bridgette’s daughter Chelsea was a spoiled daughter who used to to get away with everything. Fifth, Bridgette treated her enabling mother like a maid.

After realizing all these challenges, Tabatha thought the best way to help this salon was to motivate Bridgette to change her negative ways so she can start motivating her team.
Thus, during episode 6 of Tabatha Takes Over, Tabatha made Bridgette practice on her horse, thinking it would help her to learn how to control others and hone her managerial skills.
Once, she was able to show some progress with the horse, Tabatha took her entire salon staff at the farm and had Bridgette take charge. After spending a day at the farm, Tabatha managed to bring out the boss in Bridgette as she began to find her authoritative voice.

Back at salon, there was a great teamwork amongst Salon Bridgette staff. Now they not only were inspired to do well but they also developed a good work ethic and followed policies and rules set by Bridgette for her salon.
Thus, Tabatha Takes Over transformed Salon Bridgette into a truly fabulous French chateau.
