Diet for beautiful long hair

Long hair looks fabulous, but not everyone likes to grow their hair long. Depending upon your need and occasion, if you are looking for quick ways to grow long hair, I would recommend you to either add extensions or get a good hair wig.

If you are really serious about growing your hair long and strong, then read on.

First, there’s no secret formula for attaining healthy hair. Just like for a healthy body you have to eat the right foods and perform physical exercise, likewise you have to be very careful with your hair to make it healthy, shiny and longer.

Foods for long and health hair

1. Protein: Hair is primarily made of protein, so make sure you are consuming appropriate amount of protein in your daily diet. Some sources include eggs, fish, beans, yogurt, soy protein, etc.

2. Green Vegetables: Consuming green leafy vegetables like spinach, lentils, legumes will make your hair grow fuller and thicker.

3. Vitamins: Vitamin A, B1, B6 and C are extremely important not just for healthy body but also for healthy hair.

4. Folic Acid: Folic acid helps in preventing hair thinning and wheat is a good source for your daily dose of folic acid.

5. Nuts: Nuts and seeds contain zinc, magnesium, selenium and other such minerals that make hair grow fast naturally.

Regular consumption of these foods in your diet will make your hair grow longer and stronger. To get even better results make sure you regularly clean your hair with mild shampoo and a conditioner.
